Ah, yes--my plan was to write the UC Toronado chapter this weekend. That didn't happen because I drowned myself in American Morgan Horse Association registry information.
This will help me connect the dots and complete those last few chapters.

I went into the AMHA registry and found that (other than UConn), Esther's only owner was one Linda B Merims, in Tennessee, who purchased the mare in 2002. I googled her name and found that she was active on a few horse-related message boards. Her listed address from the AMHA database is a PO box. I'll do more digging and see what I can find. :)

ReplyDeleteI had a heck of a time finding a phone number for Linda B Merims, and was able to track down an e-mail for her last week--but it bounced back. I may just have to do good ol' snail mail.

I found only two e-mail addresses for her, one was active circa 1998, the other I know was active on a few message boards more recently, at least until 2006 -- that e-mail is LBM@naisp.net
